BTW, my bandmate had a reissue Twin, and I thought it sounded too "ice-pickey". It was really bright, and lacked character. Of course, it could have been his playing, his guitar, or settings on the amp itself.
Another reason I prefer the SF over a Reissue, is that they hold their value, and techs will work on them. What's a Twin RI worth? $500-$600? I've seen '68-'71 Twins fetching $1000 or more. (Not that I'd pay that much.)

I bet the ice-pickiness was the reissue eminence "gold label" speakers. Those things are terrible, IME. The Jensen clones they are putting in them now are much better, in my experience.
I had a pro jr. with the stock ceramic Eminence... Emi makes good speakers, but those things were bad. Put a weber in and it totally changed the complexion of the amp!
