Gross wood. Probably a better body shape than the other tele-stang we've seen before though.
note: posted here instead of ebay auctions because it's more of a curiosity thing and i don't expect anyone will want it. though it might be good for parts...
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

My god, why would you do that to a poor innocent mustang, if you're going to wreck a guitar, wreck a gibson!
On the plus side though I've now inspired two threads I feel so loved

....... or not

It deserves it, I really hate Gibsons, they look sooo over-pretentious and they are all the same but with different shaped bodies.

Mustangs are probably the cutest little guitars that fender has ever made, why would somebody do this?

My guitar teacher has that, and then I made him want a JM by telling him it sounds like a gibson but mellower and nicer, and now he really wants one

Seriously though, Gibson's aren't mullered enough. Fender's are superb yet people insist on ruining them, tut tut although I am partial to some modding, for example humbuckers on a JM.

nevermind the humbuckers, keep the single coils!
