Just got this Dano baritone earlier today and I've been fooling around with it through the usual rig. I just recently got the JHS Compressor and despite my previous negative experiences with compressors I actually really like this one. I think the blend knob helps quite a bit.

I could easily jam out to some Evens songs with this rig.

There's a bunch of redundancies in this rig, but I'm having a really great time with it. There's so many different combinations of the various boosts that really open up different sounds and textures. The Telecaster has Duncan '55s in it and the amp is an AD5.

It’s a really great little amp. I’ve had it for a long time now. I turn it up just enough that it can be clean-ish or kind of dirty depending on pickups and how hard I play. Throw a booster (or 4  ) into the mix and there are quite a few sounds in there.

Keeping it fairly simple this week. Doing some Frippy volume swells into warbly tape echo type stuff with this set up, straight into my Focusrite.

Setup for the experiment-happy band: Microkorg w custom presets/JM -> an A/B/C box w separate in-built clean boosts a friend built me (not using one of the inputs with this band) -> tuner -> Rattler -> Wooly Mammoth clone -> DOD Rubberneck w Dwarfcraft Wizard of Pitch in loop -> Polara Reverb -> Klon clone as always-on pre-amp to lend my clean Tremolux a bit of grit.

P90s and a Les Paul.. there’s really no way to go wrong with that combo! I really love this one that I have now. It’s a total boat anchor but I’ve gotten used to it. I’m not sure I could wear it on a strap for an extended period of time though. I should weight it one day just for the laugh. I’m 100% sure it weighs more than my Travis Bean :fro:

Mine is 9.1lbs, so it's not too bad, especially for a Custom...but hours and hours on a strap are not fun for sure!

God I love P90s...I actually think I like them more than PAF humbuckers! :-[

There isn’t a lot that you can’t do with a pair of P90s. I just weighed it using my bathroom scale… 11.8lbs :wtf: that’s with the strap and obviously the Bigsby (and vibramate). Grovers too. These Classics are not chambered either. So, yeah, it’s a pig. Haha!
