Us guitarists are weird...there's enough in that rack to buy a house in some towns of the UK and have no mortgage, yet we think that's perfectly normal behaviour haha! :D

The tweed is a homebuilt monstrosity with an uprated power section, OT and a slightly deeper cab. The SF is a 69'. Both have Jupiter 8sc in them. They do sound tremendous in stereo, particularly with stereo chorus.
Great setup! I love two lil amps in stereo.

Also want to add that I like the Jupiter 8sc I installed in my Silvertone 1481. And the 10LC I put in a separate 1x10“ cab. They’re good Jensens.

I normally gravitate towards Celestions too!

Same here. I have a Gold and a G12H55hz in my 2x12".

I have a pair of Golds in my horizontal Bassman 2x12 and a quad of Scumback m75 in my 1960a :) The Golds pair of phenomenally well with the bf Bassman! The 1960a is paired up with my Valvestorm jtm45 and it's a match made in heaven, those speakers are just the natural voice of that amp.

Back when I used to play for churches, I would run the pair in stereo with a Fulltone ST2 and pan them hard R and L in the house. Just a lovely little motion to it.

I'm not surprised. I use the 2x12 with my Tremolux head and I agree. Though I tend to prefer the 1x10 for recording (mostly I suppose because I can drive it a lot harder), in practice or live situations the 2x12 really is phenomenal. It sounds especially great with a good klon clone as a pre-amp/boost after the other pedals. The only way I could see of improving it would be to replace the G12H for another Gold to get a pair like yours. But I've been holding off on that because the golds are pricey and because it's already sounding great; I know it can be even a little better, but then maybe great is good enough? That's often been my struggle lately; I'll be perfectly happy with something, but the knowledge that some mod or tweak to it could make it a little better still just won't give me a rest.

I bet that sounds lovely! At the practice room, I sometimes run my Guyatone (a 1x12 70s transistor amp) in stereo with the Tremolux. It's interesting playing through both a solid state and a tube amp, because their attack and pick response are noticeably different. It works surprisingly well together. No idea if I'd prefer it to two tube amps, because I haven't had the opportunity, but it's worth experimenting with if you can.

I have a little ss Ampeg practive amp from the 70's that sounds really good, I'll have to try that in stereo with one of the Champs! Might sound better in dual mono though.

Sorting out the live sound. New head with a nice drive means no need for the BE-OD

Heheheh...sure, here's a photo from the time I got it, about 6 and a half years ago.

This guitar has been my undisputed #1 ever since. :-*
