1964 Fender Jazzmaster Tremolo Screw Size
Hello! I've had a 64 Jazzmaster for a few years now that I was lucky to get. It was in rough shape when I acquired it (which was the only reason I could afford it), but I've since fixed it up and it's incredible. However, it's always missed one of the screws in the tremolo, and I'd like to replace it. I'm NOT talking about the screws mounting the tremolo to the body, I mean the three screws that mount the trem to the trem plate. I'm missing the center screw. Does anyone know where I can find a direct replacement? Or if not, just the size so I can search for it? I don't really have a way of measuring the two remaining ones in mine. Thanks!

Some contemporary Fender parts manuals list individual parts in the AVRI trem. For example the AO60s jag manual lists those 3 screws as:
SCREW M 8-32 X 1/4 THP NI 0015891049

It's likely that the vintage screw is the same 8-32 screw in the AVRI trem. One of the better parts suppliers (Riley, Angela, Guitars Parts Factory) may be able to source that exact 0015891049 screw from Fender if you ask them.
