The upper horn looks too skinny in proportion to the rest of the guitar
I had the same thought. It looks kinda like a Reverend with an erection.
After typing that out, there are a bunch of jokes I'm struggling not to make.
Do you think it might leave a

It always amazes me that these companies somehow don't fall foul of copyright laws as they're pretty blatant ripoffs. I know the Strat and Tele shape have long been declared as public domain but the Mustang, JM, Starcaster, etc clones they bumble out for wild money seem to be crossing the lines a fair bit. They've not even bothered to try and redesign the vibrato unit on this one, it looks just like a Hosco Mustang unit.
They also didn't even bother to come up with their own headstock, just ripped the Starcaster one.
Even the fucking pickguard. We may truly be out of new good design ideas..

Wow, that's hideous.
If you want to pay far too much for a non-Mustang, I'll accept £2000 for this

Yes, that certainly looks like a Bilt version of a Mustang.

I don't really understand the comments about a Mustang body being "too small". It's got almost the exact same footprint of a Strat - horn to tail they're the same length.
Yeah strats are too small to be comfortable, or more importantly look good, for me. I like the big bodies of Jags, more in proportion to me.
Look how tiny the silver sky looks on this wanker!

I like it. Y’all are such haters lol. It doesn’t look exactly like a Mustang because it isn’t one. Those already exist.

That's not really the point. The point is that they redesigned the body in such a shitty way, that some of the proportions look weird/off.

BiLT should use the tagline "Like Fender, but 55% more Stunning and Brave"
Based on this I am team Bilt.

not a wonderland.

I've been debating between getting either a jaguar or a mustang for my main short scale guitar. Since the jazzmaster is my favorite guitar I always thought the mustang was like a weird half offset body shape. Sometimes I wondered what it would be like if it was more offset. Now I know.
I don't think its the worst thing ever, but I'm wondering why you would spring for one of these instead of an actual mustang, or a squier one, or literally anything else.

I never understood how Bilt are still in business. They may make wonderful guitars, but they are so so ugly. Interestingly, this new Mustang is not too bad, though there is no reason for it to exist when the actual Mustang does.
