Unlike Jsett, I am a Beatles fan. Liking this thing more and more, although I definitely don’t need a guitar like this.
It’s pretty, even without the missing scratch plate

I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

It’s bloody growing on me. Super handy to play unplugged & it’s just so cool looking compared to my solid body guitars.
I need to recoup some money on the guitars I impulse bought at the auction. So irony of ironies, going to sell my Beatles vinyl collection boxset instead, which would let me maybe keep the casino…

Nice looking thing. I like a trapeze tailpiece.
I was trying to capture the insane checking in the new Ric this morning, you can see it here:
It's like this all over the guitar. From what I've read the Rickenbacker finishes are supposed to be very durable so heaven knows what happened to this one. I did find a thread somewhere where a couple of people had 08/09 Ric's that had done the same so maybe it was a varnish batch thing. Either way, I'm not opposed, but I'm sure all the Ric nerds (and they are really a different breed if their forums are anything to go by!) would absolutely hate it as they seem to like things pristine.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Absolutely adore mine. Bone stock 2017 Chinese made one. I got lucky with the stock P90s, they measure right around 9kohm I believe. I find the tone of the Casino is always correct regardless of what I play. It’s never shrill or too woof-y, always sits right in the sweet spot.
I’ve gotten used to its unusual neck shape, how do you find the profile on that one? Mine is shaped like almost like a classical, flat/very thin with almost a square-ish shape.

Here's my 2004 Amberglo 360/12... I sold it during tough financial times :-(
I vow to find a six string version and swap the white guards for gold, I usually hate gold anything but this worked.

Nice. I'd expect that of a 44 year old guitar though. Looks fun
