I watched "Banshees of Inisherin" last week and that film has lived in my mind for days and days. Being the child of Irish people (I've learned not to call myself Irish lest I incur their wrath and "plastic paddy"s. ), and having ended the longest and most significant male platonic friendship of my life thus far in the past two years, that film hit me deep in the giblets.

Anyway, my friend took great pleasure in Irish music. Way more than I ever did. Paul Brady's "Arthur McBride" was (is?) one of his favorites. Epic Yamaha acoustic album.

It's been on repeat in my head alone with David Bowie's 12-string "It's No Game" demo.

No CD but Nuggets 50th anniversary vinyl box set and new Sun Ra’s Egypt 71 vinyl box set.
