Love this thread! I posted the strats elsewhere but this is a nice spot for them, too.

Re: Show me the Green
I just remembered that I finally took some decent pics of my Sage Green Metallic Bronco/Jag. It's not the greenest green, but it's still green.

Re: Show me the Green
This thread is the reason I’ve gone and ordered two different Sherwood green projects; a bound tele and a Jaguar. Going to be awhile to get them up and running though.

How do you like the Surf180s?
And what kind of green tone is this? Somehow close to that Mystic Seafoam Fender put out a while ago.

Re: Show me the Green
Thanks! The paint is Duplicolor Hampsted Green Metallic, which is an old Honda color, apparently. It has a bit of a yellowed IBM vibe in person.MayTheFuzzBeWithYou wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 10:17 amLove it!Tweedledee wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 5:13 amI made some changes to my one green offset, so I figured I would post it again.

I’m digging the Surf 180s. They’re really articulate and punchy, so they have a beefy single coil feel to them, but no hum.

You did that with a rattle can!? Impressive!
The last time I had any real luck with a can it was that exact version of duplicator - also a metallic. I think they adhere better for some reason.

Also: well done for the spraying!
I got enough Offsets with PAF sized pickups for now - but somehow I prefer the aesthetics of the 180s over the 90s that I have in my VM Jag. And what you describe does sound desireable… maybe one day!
