The good news is that, because I'm working with them on other projects, Allparts did not charge a 50% deposit up front for this order. That's a very nice benefit from a cashflow perspective. It takes some stress out of the entire process for me.
Things have a way of working out.

Other projects, you say?

I have a bass-related project in the works that I mentioned very briefly on page 4. I'm not going public with it until all of the details are worked out, and from a process perspective, it's quite a bit behind this one.

Bee, add me to your list for a neck! I've actually been thinking about a Jag build for a while. I picked up a Taylor GS Mini a couple months ago, and really love playing that with the 23.5" scale. I've got the $$ whenever you're ready to collect. Were you going to take deposits? I'd happily pay up front to secure my place in line.

Hmmmm... Not like I need more instruments. I may be encroaching the "wife murder" limit, although the wife was outwardly happy to assist me in picking a pickguard for the Charcoal Frost Jag body that she had never seen before yesterday... Because it was delivered yesterday.
It helps that she and I are a tad tight on funds through this paycheck so no random purchases, but I did sock some money away to not so randomly pay for these necks.

Added, and I don't take deposits.
When they're available, I'll reach out to everybody on THE LIST. I expect at least one or two will have a change of heart between now and the time the necks arrive, so I'll add a few extras for initial follow up. That said, once the necks are in-hand, It will be first come, first-served.
Doing it any other way is burdensome, and potentially a big hassle. Thanks for understanding!
THE LIST:
1. @MayTheFuzzBeWithYou
2. @GreenKnee
3. @sciuri
4. @Steadyriot.
5. @Daitong II
6. @GilmourD
7. @OffYourFace
8. @ryland
9. @staytuned

I got confirmation of receipt last Thursday, but my contact at Allparts is off work Friday and today. I expect we might get some kind of ETA estimate later this week.

Is there still time to be added to the order and possible to ship to the UK? If so I would jump on this! Happy to pay upfront also. Happy to be on the reserve list if I missed the boat...
