That could be, but someone recently told me that some of the vintage VIs had slightly longer trem-arms...the older brother wrote:I think it's just a regular AVRI - it looks longer because the trem sits closer to the bridge than on a JM or Jag.northern_dirt wrote: Yeah is that An extra long arm?.. and if so where does one get such a nifty device.. The ones that I have on for the photos are a set of Fender Bass VI strings (.025, .035, .045, .055, .075, .095).cmatthes wrote: What strings (gauge) are you using on there?
When I have it set up it will have some Labella Roundwounds (.026, .035, .044, .055, .075, .095) - I got these because at the time I ordered them I wasnt able to source any Labella flatwounds to be delivered to Australia - despite waiting a couple of months on an order. Ill try out the rounds and see how they sound, and I may switch to flats when I finally get a set.
I have a decal sorted but have held off putting it on until it comes back from its setup.jetset wrote: Got a decent decal?

Its just the arm which comes with the regular jag/jazzmaster trem unit, only change is that I have put an "aged" tip on it:northern_dirt wrote: Yeah is that An extra long arm?.. and if so where does one get such a nifty device.. Id like one (X 4)

.....none of this is my fault......

That's cool that it's a regular arm, because it looks super-cool and it means that maybe I can get one for mine!
