i really don't see why anyone would spend $5000 on this when you can get a couple of top notch "normal" amps plus an entire arsenal of wacky pedals for less than that.

it gets so hot i'm afraid to leave it on for more than a couple of hours

Maybe i'm just not RAWK enough, but alot of that amps functionality seems completely unusable and impractical. Like sure, it sounds nuts, but are you really going to dial in crazy sounds all the time? Like i said, maybe i'm a bit tame, but seems like a bit of a one trick pony. I'm sure you could get Aen to knock you up a pedal that sounds fucking nuts but still offers you the option to, y'know, turn it off!


I can't profess to be knowledgeable about this stuff, but it seems you pay an even bigger premium for a swear on your amp than you do for "Gibson" on the head of your guitar.

I think they were just showing you the wierd crazy sounds that the amp has and that metasonix is known for..
Im pretty sure its a kick ass tube amp on its own

What makes it $5000? I think they though since one boutique amp is around $2500, we put two and therefore......

Plus for that much money the cab design should be alot better, and original.

IIRC, very few of the FF amps were actually made.  If you want one, they'll make one for you.

I don't think they have expectations that working guitarists will be flocking to it.

I call bullshit on this amplifier.  Plus it would cost too much to retube.
