I'm pretty sure this is a Seymour Duncan model. Had long thought it was a Vintage, but with the "STR3" label I'm now thinking that it's a Quarter Pounder? I installed this thing long enough ago (25-ish years) that I don't recall the specific type...

Google says STR3 is the Quarter Pound tele set and it looks like one that's listed on reverb so probably that.

Resistance is around 11.1 k.
That's not far off from SD's listing of 11.8 k for a (new) neck Quarter Pounder. Guess that settles it.

The Tele neck version has 3/16" diameter poles. 1/4" probably wouldn't leave a whole lot of room to actually wrap a proper coil and put a cover on it.Chippertheripper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 11:36 amThe pole pieces look small for a qp. What’s it read?

Makes sense. It’s been a decade or so since I had a set. All I recall was that they were happier with 500k pots, and they had big slugs…at least in the bridge where they were visible.GilmourD wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 8:04 amThe Tele neck version has 3/16" diameter poles. 1/4" probably wouldn't leave a whole lot of room to actually wrap a proper coil and put a cover on it.Chippertheripper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 11:36 amThe pole pieces look small for a qp.
