I have a friend who plays drums casually and is bigger than I am who suggested a Pork Pie but I really like the idea of having a back support and one of the bike seat shaped things. Also I read a bunch of reviews where big guys talked about them being uncomfortable so I’m at a loss. It doesn’t help that pretty much none of the product pages I’ve perused have any kinda weight capacity listed.
I know they can get expensive but if there are enough options that I can get a good deal on one, affordability would be great.
Thanks!
Looking for a drum throne that can handle my size (very large boy)

Just get a cocktail kit man!

I really am of no help when it comes to drums, sorry but a quick google pointed me to the Rock 'n Sock Nitro Extended, the Ahead Spinal Glide (funky one!) and the Pork Pie Big Boy. Bet you already found those though.
Hope someone with some more experience can chime in soon!

How big a boy? I'm 6'1" and about 300lbs (working on that part.) and Roc N Soc thrones have worked great for me. Either the spindle one (which could probably handle a bit more weight) or the hydraulic one worked for me.
