Whatever the quality of that dude's products, I keep wondering how many controversies it will take before I get to stop hearing his name. I'm also surprised (not surprised at all) at how many guitarists seem to back him with a "hell, yeah!".
Is a Fulldrive really THAT good?

None of his circuits are revolutionary, all being based on something but with tweaks. The dude's got a good ear but a shit heart and mashed potato brains.MrShake wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 3:11 amWhatever the quality of that dude's products, I keep wondering how many controversies it will take before I get to stop hearing his name. Let's just say that when I want OCD tones I activate the Dan side of my D&M Drive. Robert Keeley got my money and will likely get more of my money in the future.

Funny thing about that... A lot of people thought it was named for Fullerton, CA, where Fender was originally located but it was actually because it was manufactured by Fuller O'Brien.
Also, it was poly. So, yes, Fender's had a poly undercoat when Leo still owned the company.

M. Fuller = Bad.
too much there to be a coincidence.

I hadn't even considered that angle.

Just one of those Mikes. One fucked the other but still owns the shop with both of their names still on it, which is disingenuous, while the other has absolutely zero to do with the shop (and never had anything to do with the insane pricing and has said how stupid it is).

Re: The Official 2024 OSG MF'er Thread
I had an OCD v4, a ‘69, and a Clyde deluxe Wah. I sold it all after learning how much of a douchebag Fuller is. Same as when I learned how much of a clown the Danelectro owner is. Got rid of everything.
I do miss the Clyde Deluxe Wah. It was seriously the best Wah I’ve ever laid hands on. It was built like a tank and sounded so good.
Everybody knows the OCD. It’s a great drive, but it’s not that unique really.
The ‘69 was a good pedal as well, but I don’t miss it that much though.
Does anyone know about a Wah that’s comparable to the Clyde Deluxe? Built like a tank, no volume drop, and has multiple modes??

"Now I have become both Mikes."
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

My understanding is that the ego is there.

OPM, on the other hand, has never been anything but nice and helpful, even spending time to give me advice on things and sometimes just BS. I honestly won't fight for most people cuz I'm just disappointed in humanity in general, but I'd throw down for him.
