Browsing though the local Craigslist this afternoon, I found a SF Super Reverb for a very good price and I jumped on it instantly!! The amp belonged to an old gentleman who bought it new in 1979, used it for a couple of years to play violin at wedding parties...... Knowing that the amp had not been used for 20-some years, I brought it immediately to the best amp guy in town. He was impressed. The amp is MINT! The footswitch was never even taken out of it's plastic bag... the original vinyl cover is intact... Everything is like new. 8)
Now, should I sell it for big bucks to a collector and buy another amp that I won't be afraid to gig or keep it for myself and play the thing... I know it's not the most collectible amp, but given it's condition, it could be an investment piece....
I don't know what to do??? :-\
