I've had my eye on a SF one for a while, if I could ever find one less than $800 or so (! ouch !).  Made the mistake of playing a SF one at a music store and it was the best sounding amp I have ever played.  $1000, though, so no dice.

I'd definitely consider buying the RI for these, maybe my first "new" amp ever!  (well, not if it's $1000).

edit: the demo has a guild bluesbird on one track and a starfire on another.  Are they reissuing the guild stuff again?!  (as the credit card starts becoming hot to the touch)

edit pt 2: sweetwater has the RI: 1200 list, $899.  I'll pay an extra $100 for an old one.    Or wait 3-4 years till they turn up used.

Niceee. One of my favorite guitarists -- Ryan Adams -- gets his tone out of two of these things. I'd definitely consider getting one, though $800 is a bit steep for at the moment.

What makes them different from the Deluxe Reverb? Is it just a wattage thing, or do they have different circuitry/tubes?
