I just got a bridge I ordered in the mail for my new MIM Jag to replace the adjust-o-matic it came with. It's brass with roller saddles and I've put them on most of the cheaper guitars I've owned, always with great results. Plus having roller saddles instead of adjust-o-matic saddles should do wonders for trem performance and prolonging string life. The aftermarket posts thread into the MIM sleeves just fine, so luckily, I won't have to change those out. Unfortunately, they're spaced ever so slightly too narrow to allow the bridge itself to mount onto the posts.
I want to open the post holes on the bridge itself inward enough so that it'll fit on the guitar the way it should, but I've never really worked with metal before, so I don't know how I should go about doing this. Any tips on how I can do this/what tools I might need? Thanks.

You should be able to do it with a set of needle files, just clamp it firmly and work slowly.

I've done this recently to get a perfect fit on a TOM bridge. Worked perfectly, and is hardly noticeable up close.
I have a bridge like the one you posted, and looking at it, it appears that as long as you don't have too much to remove, it's gonna work fine.
