how to attach a loose speaker cone wire

Thanks to my girlfriend, i now have a weber alnico speaker with a detached speaker cone wire.    Meaning the wire is detached from the actual cone... there´s still a buch of that rubber cementy stuff with a hole where the wire came from... so there´s sorta a place for the wire but i can´t just stick it there, i need to attach it somehow... any ideas? regular rubber cement work for this? or maybe just a drop of superglue to the tip of the wire and stick it back in .... stupid idea?

Warning: Don´t come a liftin anybodys amp when it´s on and the speaker is connected to an attenuator that is lying on the floor... luckily my amp didn´t fry when the wire came off...

OK, you need to buy the goopy stuff that people use to attach dust caps to speakers.  You know the stuff?  Look up dust caps and there's a special kind of glue, I don't remember what it's called offhand, but it's this black goopy stuff.  Sorry I'm not a bigger help.
