Sweet mother of..... some nice samples there. TV Yellow, Cherry, Oxblood, Goldtops, Arctic White, sunburst, walnut, Black, Green, etc. Sometimes I get so caught up in all the Fender Custom colors that I forget all the Gibson variations.

i'd love me a goldtop or something similar.. only problem is, even when on sale, a goldtop is still 18000 DKK, wich is around 4500 US$

My '59 ES-125T.

I really must take some bigger, more pronographic shots while we've got decent sunlight.

i've heard several revues about those that say they are 95% of the guitar gibson puts out, at more than 50% less cost wise.

A band mate just bought one of these on Craigslist... except it was a double cut, (we both agree the single looked better).
He just put in a Super Distortion pickup in the bridge and it sounds great.

I've been admiring that guitar ever since you got it. I just adore it! I wish there was some way I could get accurate full-scale tracings of it. I wanna build my daughter a shortscale archtop and starting with your guitar would be ideal.

How do you normally go about getting tracings done? I'll gladly send you accurate measurements from point to point. The archtop makes it kinda tricky though as (obviously) its not flat.stereordinary wrote:PorkyPrimeCut wrote: My '59 ES-125T.![]()

I'm assuming you'd only need the body dimensions as the neck is a fairly generic Gibson one.

Yeah, therein lies the challenge. I don't really know how you'd do it actually, that's the problem. Honestly I guess just any way you can.
