Re: My offset lovelies.
you guys have any ideas to cut off the hum a little bit? or is it a hopeless battle we will all have to learn to embrace?

if you're referring to the bright red guards on older MIJ models you're wrong, allparts guards look a lot better than those.StevenO wrote:Well he already said it, but yeah, allparts guard, not vintage. All I've seen for aftermarket pickguards is that ugly brown tortoise shell. I can't stand it.

I've not seen the allparts in person, but yeah it's not like I said the word SIMILAR, or anything...Sauerkraut wrote:if you're referring to the bright red guards on older MIJ models you're wrong, allparts guards look a lot better than those.StevenO wrote:Well he already said it, but yeah, allparts guard, not vintage. Agreed.Sauerkraut wrote: if you're referring to the bright red guards on older MIJ models you're wrong, allparts guards look a lot better than those.
Of all the reproductions I've seen, the Allparts guards get the closest to the original tortoise shell.
I am SO glad that this thread came along. I don't think I ever would have checked with them.
