Re: Fender Cyclone II
I'm guessing that the
refers to the Strat tremolo. Correct?

I love the design of these, and you can't go wrong with three AVRI jag pickups. I've never played one, so I don't know anything about their functionality and quality and stuff (switches seem kinda close to the pups) but I think they look pretty great.
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

Re: Fender Cyclone II
yeah, ive read reviews where people say they would hit the switches on accident while strumming, turning the pickups off. most of them said they just flipped the switches. thats probably what ill do.FireAarro wrote: I love the design of these, and you can't go wrong with three AVRI jag pickups. You could always just get a DuoSonic switch setup going like this:

Re: Fender Cyclone II
I have wanted one of these for so long!

I agree with the
Strat Trem though.....

Cyclone I's are cool, too, but I prefer the 3 single coil setup and Jag style switches, though..
Talking about this brings on severe GAS!!! It went in to remission until now!

Here is a Squier loaded body on the Bay.... May be tough finding a neck, as it's 24.75" Gibson scale...

Re: Fender Cyclone II
When i was first "Real" guitar shopping I was really hot for a cyclone II, but i got a good deal on a Toronado. I wish i had a Cyclone II though.
I prefer their older stuff.

Re: Fender Cyclone II
the two things i dislike on the Cyclone II is the strat shape of the pickguard (I prefer rounded like on Mustangs)
and the diamond switch plate too close from the strings.
