I've never replaced any because I really like the look of dirty and faded cloth. But, I have had to retighten it on my Orange 4x12 after I got it. It took about 2 hours to get the baffle out of that cab  It looked perfect afterward though, just a lot of work to get there. It had come loose and was all sunken in before. Hopefully I will never have to do it again

I've built a bunch of cabs, the Lightning clone cab in this pic for instance.  The biggest pain in attaching grill cloth is getting the rows straight.  It usually takes a bit of staple removal, repositioning, and re-stapling.

Sorry I,m a little of subject, but am really interested in your lightnin clone, you said you built the cab, but what about the amp? I really like it and want one.

I had some "in progress" pics of the stripped cab and shots as I went along, but they're not loaded in photobucket.  This'll give you an idea.  +1 on the biggest issue being lining up the lines.  Of course doing that with grillecloth pales in comparison to lining up the tolex I used!

I'm about to redo my Super Reverb. It's been done once before and therefore, it's very frayed all along the edges where the staples go, and I know that when I take it off to make a new baffle, it won't be re-staple able. I ordered a yard of aged silverface cloth from ampwares.

I did the Twin in this picture long ago. Somehow it got a weird stain in the center that you can just see to the left of the guitar case handle, so I'll do it again sometime. It's pretty unsightly. The frame has bowed on the bottom right and it won't stay stuck down. I need to fix that too.
