let's hear it for one of my top 10 bands EVER!

I have been totaly in love with dEUs's music for more than a decade...I'll never forget the first time the video for "Suds & Soda" aired on MTV's 120 Mins.

a life changing moment for me musicaly....one of the things that occasionaly makes me sad is that I've never met people who'd like to put a musical project like that together.

that would rule!

aaaaaanyways...I've seen them live twice...once at the Rockwave Festival back home in Greece...I think it was during the "Ideal Crash" tour.

I saw them again about...hmm...almost a year ago I think here in London at Shepherd's Bush and loved them!

What.. ?! ...  no way, those guys have been one of my favourite bands since Suds & Soda as well!

I kinda lost track of them for a while there until I picked up Pocket Revolution a few months back, which is excellent. Oddly, it's more accessible than their earlier material I think.

I like the way they're a group of friends that were initially artists of other kinds .. painter, novelist, etc. They have that in common with another favourite group of mine, Melbourne's Underground Lovers who were mainly film students I think.

Heh, my sister lives in Brussels and every time I go visit I think I might run into a dEUs member somewhere .. not that I'd recognize most of them.

I'd love to be in a similar project as well ..

I'm watching a live video of them as we speak...it's from the Pinkpop Festival last year!

a truly excellent band...I must agree Pocket Revolution was more accessible than the early stuff, still good though, still had that dEUS seal on it

I've always liked them. I like their first two albums more than their last two though, they're a bit over-produced in my opinion, not enough messing around.

I really like Ideal Crash, especially toward the end. I'd love to see / have seen them live.

now this is funny

way back in 94
when they were still apeshit they played ad my house
(used to live in an old factory and organised concerts there)
it was one of there first gigs for a bigger aud. 300 people.

anyway it turned out to be" the" shortest set ever of dEUS
they started with suds and then the cops took over (it was all sort of illegal) and they played one more tune

so whenever we meet DONT call me "friday"

4 monts ago some neo nazi plunk shot 3 people killing 2  one was the  2,5 year old kid of my nephew

so after a while tom decided to organise a concert for tolerance  the 0110 festival
and today i' m very happy that that fascist of dewinter is beaten for the election of the mare of antwerp
