Actually I ordered it yesterday.
I swung by GC to see if they had one... they didn't but the guy was nice and I just orderd it on a whim.
Hope it comes in soon.
Think I'll build a 1x10" or a 1x12" with an Eminence Alpha speaker. Either ported or sealed, not sure yet.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to have a small tube amp for the home recording...

For the price of a pedal!
It's a great little amp that is perfect for recording. Absolutely no hiss turned up 100%. I haven't had a chance to play my (brand new) JM through mine yet, but my '52 Tele RI sounds amazing through it. I guess, perhaps due to the lack of tone stack, that the VJ would be considered "dark", but with a bright guitar through it, quite literally shimmers.
I see they've just released the matching extension cab for it, at around $150 or so...difficult to build one for that price. Hope you enjoy your VJ!

Got mine... I had to jump through some hoops to finally get it but it's at my house now...
it is a little dark sounding... I may ad a bright switch to it. but I don't wanna hack it up like most folks do so I might ad a bright switch to a push-pull pot and replace the volume knob with that.
The Bass VI sounds really dark though it. Bass guitar sound AMAZING through it.
