did a lot to make me rethink strats. I kinda pushed them aside as the guitar EVERYONE had, whether it was a knock-off or a real Fender. And I always wanted a humbucker in a guitar before, but now I have to say there's not many tones I like more than the 4th position, with the middle and bridge pickups out of phase with each other (i think thats the term).
That said, I don't think I've ever fallen out of love with a good strat neck sound (even if that sound is emulated in a different guitar). It just sounds
right to me. I've never seemed to like any other pickup in the neck than a strat-style single coil, and I suppose that's a pretty big statement in love of 'the guitar EVERYONE has'.
I've wanted one of the Classic Player 60s strats for sooo long. The sonic blue is lovely, and the mint green pickguard works very well. Although the danocaster aged strats posted earlier make this look like a fucking joke tbh:
