Please tell me you're not suggesting I do purple, red, blue and orange pickguards...

Nice.

There's this one I'm fond of, too. I have it drawn up somewhere I think:

Hmmm...I quite like the custom kraft one. Looks maybe a little too angular for this body, though. Any thoughts? The Yamaha one is way too pointy, but digging up all my old pics of SG-2 and 3s has made me absolutely determined to make as faithful a replica as I can for my next project...

what if you did a headstock shape that mirrored the shape of the lower horn? :-[ It'd look sort of like a fat chili pepper with tuning pegs or something :D

I like the Custom Kraft a lot, but with that "inlay" or whatever you call that.
We got people playing stringed instruments! It's the end of days.

I still think the Starcaster looks the best.

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

I'd stick with the Starcaster one too

I think so, too. Though maybe a slightly stubbier version?

Not bad. it would give you better access to the high E string.

How about combining it with this design. Make the top bit like this Ibanez design.

I like that last Starcaster revision Ben, but how about bringing the downward-pointing horn part in a little? Sort of make the bottom of the point, and the bottom of the swoop on the same horizontal line.
