White with green guard is so killer!!!  I wish that black & white photo were in color...that's a beautiful looking VI.

Do you really need a coloured version of that picture? It'll be a white vi with a white guard, no matter what. :)

I need it all.

Sorry to bump up an ancient thread but does anybody have any more eye candy for this thread? I'm really thinking of putting a white/mint green pickguard on my jazzmaster as I feel like the search for the perfect tort guard is expensive and not very satisfying in the end.

Not bad, I've seen yours before. I was hoping for a normal jazzmaster look, though. I love bigbsys

I love white on white. I like monchromatic schemes. I painted a spare pickguard in sherwood green for my SG JM, but it was way over the top. I didn't care for it unfortunately. So it got the gold, which I'd pretty much made up my mind on anyway.

Not the greatest shot, but that was definitely white on white with matching headstock.

Ever siince seeing Jimi Hendrix and Robin Trower and yes Ernie Ball with all white guitars (Ernie Ball had a Jag white with white pickguard and headstodk - awesome), I have always loved all white guitars.
For some reason they really stand out and look like jewels.
I even like Steve Vai's all white JEM. But not for 2000 dollars.

The weirdest thing happened to me today.  I was walking down the street in Salem, OR, and I saw this in the window of a local guitar shop....

So strange, after all of this white on white talk!!!!  The guy says it's a 63, but it doesn't have the original pickguard, tuners, saddles, bridge, or finish.  It's a pretty bad refin, too! It looked like Krylon.  He didn't even take the stupid stickers off.

The store owner was a jerk, and he tried to tell me they are standard 34" scale...What a moron. >:(  I didn't even ask the price, because the guy pissed me off.  I didn't even argue with him about the scale.  He probably wanted too much for it, but I was still stoked to see a Bass VI!!!  Should have asked to play it, but he was too busy to give me the time of day...Jerk off

P.S.  Once again, sorry about the pic quality...Cell phone pics

i used to live in Salem, and i'm trying to tell where that store is by the reflections in the window... it's got to be within a block or two of the Reed Opera House mall, i'll bet, and Ranch Records...?

It's Guitar Castle on State Street, just east of Commercial.  They actually had some cool stuff, but the atmosphere of the place is much too stuffy!  There were some cool vintage Fender amps,  a 12 string Ric, and different things.  That was the only offset Fender, though.
