There are several other Japanese stores that used to sell guitars to the US but stopped; not Ishibashi, though.  Maybe they're resisting whatever pressure Fender's putting on them?
i hope they can resist the pressure for another couple weeks because i'll be placing an order with them soon. ;D

Wasn't there someone on here talking about a couple of us going in on an Ishibashi order together to save money on shipping?  I ask because I've had serious GAS for a BMM Jag with matching headstock lately.

Guitar price plus 10,000 yen shipping.  My CC was charged $701 exactly.

No tax to the US.
This is dangerous information ;D that means I'll be placing an order with them next week.

Let me correct this - I made a mistake.  It was guitar price plus 14,000 yen shipping.  I knew that didn't seem right earlier - I remembered it being about $100 for shipping.

The total was still $701, though - that was right.  I just had the breakdown wrong.  But just didn't want you to freak out when they tell you shipping's gonna be 14,000 yen.

The show was pretty cool!  There were 7 offsets total...5 JM's, 1 Mustang, and a basket case MM.  The JM"s represented a large share of the vintage stuff, though.  There was a whole lot of crap there. :-X  Next year should be bigger and better!
