No, you just tell them what you want by email and then fill out the web form for the CC (for security reasons; I wouldn't want to send my CC# by email anyway).

Okay, how about an mail address since that's supposed to be the best way to order?

And does anyone know what three-digit code they give to Burgundy Mist Metallic?

I'm really just dreaming here, I won't be able to afford one in like forever, but hey someone has to ask these important questions!

What ever happened to the blocks & bindings ones?  Did they stop making them?  Don't see them listed on their website.  I would be willing to fork over some dough for one of these...throw some witch hat knobs on there and I would be loving it...

Their email address is web-shop@ishibashi.co.jp

Just ask them about the blocks and binding models; the model # is JM66B-106.

Just FYI, they will only sell you colors that Fender actually makes - they're not a custom shop.  Also, the only colors that have matching headstocks are OCR and OLB, or curiously enough, VWH with b/b only.  (Non-b/b VWH has no matching head.)  Kinda have a feeling that that b/b model VWH with matching headstock is probably the rarest CIJ JM color, if that's a consideration for you.  Looks pretty sharp too, judging from that ebay link above.

Hit this and follow the links on the side to see the colors Fender makes with and without b/b:  http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/fender/200 ... jaguar.htm

Edit: sorry, didn't see that Pumpkin already gave some of this info - didn't mean to step on any toes.

My salesperson was Rachel, which is a western name, so she obviously spoke perfect English.

I also had Daisuke one day when she was out, and he obviously wasn't a native speaker but still pretty good.  I'm sure they're all at least pretty good in the international sales office.

that auction long since outpriced itself. you should be able to order a B+B jazzmaster from ishibashi for about $740 US (list price is 111300, street price is always the list price divided by 1.25 = 89040, convert to USD = 740), shipping is a little over a hundred bucks. so you might as well just get a new one instead of bidding on that.
