I just had the pleasure to meet Ben and his family and play his guitars, he lives not far at all from my home turf in East London. It was really cool to see and play gutiars I've only so far seen on the screen. While all three of the guitars he has at home right now (the two Motoriks and the Buick II) are fantastic instruments, the charcoal frost JM just has something special about it. It's truly a great guitar, beautifully built, resonant, full of great sounds. I would love to buy the guitar off of Ben but I don't think I'd feel right depriving him of his number one instrument. I didn't want to stop playing it!
The Motoriks are also great, the green one looks very cool but I would have to say I preferred the white one and with all the gubbins inside of it the guitar is capable of some truly unique sounds - the tremolo circuit sounds especially good.
Ben is a real gentleman and it was a pleasure to spend some time at his place chatting and playing his guitars.
