I've seen one of the so cal strats in person and it just doesn't appeal to me at all. Very expensive(if I remember correctly) and very limited.
And yeah, those parker guitars make me cringe which is sad because they're supposed to be great guitars.

The girl in a band that my band plays with a lot plays one of those So-cal Speed shops. I don't know why, I think someone bought it for her. I would have asked her more about it but I don't care. She does have a pretty sweet little Ampeg amp though!
I thought Haledixon was talking about the Fender calender.

Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

I think their main appeal is their shape, actually. Lots of brands make great guitars, Parker makes great guitars in unique and supposedly ergonomic (I haven't played one) shapes (which a lot of people think are ugly).StevenO wrote: And yeah, those parker guitars make me cringe which is sad because they're supposed to be great guitars.
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
