like run the bridge pickup to one amp and the neck to another? disgustingly awesome! and probably useless!

but it would be priceless to be that guy on stage with two cables coming out of his guitar, and everyone is like :wtf:

I dunno; I kind of like the idea, especially if you run the pickup intended for bass through a POG. It wouldn't be the cleanest thing in the world, especially if you do chords intended for the guitar registry, but it could be fun with a little bit of dirt.

Putting jaguar and jazzmaster on those seams wrong...

They aren't awful, but they just aren't the same guitars as their namesake.

I've actually been thinking of doing that w/ a budget strat copy, installing a stereo jack or something.

This is exactly what I intend to do with my custom MONGOOSE guitar (courtesy Andrew and Andrew). If you haven't checked it out, here's the thread:

Wow, that Mongoose guitar looks ridiculously sweet! Nice stuff, and looking forward to hear how it works out.

Oh, I know, and I figured that once you do, you would make your thoughts and impressions known. I'm sure nobody is more excited than you.

Thanks for the 411. I, for one, am indeed interested. Shame about the finish choices though (especially the Jaguar).

Also, the color codes aren't complete on those sheets. The Jazzmaster is available in Butterscotch Blonde and 2-tone Sunburst. The Jaguar HH is available in Fiesta Red or 3-tone Sunburst. The Jag bass special is available in 3-tone Sunburst, Black, and Crimson Transparent. The Jag Bass with the Humbucker is available in Black, Candy Apple Red, and Silver.

All things considered, I will take a Jag in each colour, and maybe a Jag Bass HB.
I was hoping for a Daphne Blue Jag as the second colour, but Fiesta Red is still my top choice so I shall survive.
Any word on a release date? It was at this time last year that I found out about the Dick Dale Acoustic Malibu (red), and I didn't get it until June.
