Nice question for seller on my 1975 Bass VI i'm selling on ebay that has a very thorough description btw!...."Q: was this american made or japanesse built??" hahahah

You should respond with a really long and unnecessary reply explaining that it was "made in the us but by a newly hired japanese worker names Yoshino "Yoshi" Tanaka...." and then give a large biography on Mr. Tanaka.

he mailed me before saying he'd like to buy it but has just bought two vintage strats and needs to sell them first..so you woulda thought he'd know?..a bit? maybe?
