Finally! The Glorious and Evasive Mint!

Post by spaceghost » Tue Jul 17, 2007 4:52 pm

hey guys, it may be poor form to create a new thread for a pickguard, but a few of you were aware of how long i've been waiting for this. i ordered a mint guard from Fender via Guitar Center when i ordered my Jaguar (february) and it still hasn't arrived. SurfoVerb suggested angela.com (he did the same a few weeks ago) so i ordered one from them and i couldn't be happier. i took some pics, although they aren't as good as Surf's there just is no classier guitar that exists. i need a Jazzmaster and a XII with the same configuration and then i can die. so, in addition to pictures of mine (and probably Surfoverb's, too) can i see some pictures of black offsets with mint/parchment/white guards??

black is best - mint makes it perfect.
cheers!!

SG

You just can't beat the look of a black guitar in my opinion! Very Nice.

My all out favourite Jaguar!! Sadly one of two pictures on my hard-drive. I need more.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Looks great.

So why is Fender so freakin useless?

(... but if you think Fender USA is bad, try Fender Australia!)

thanks guys!! yea you'd think since i live in the continental usa it wouldn't be too difficult to get a freakin pickguard. i've talked to some reps about either ordering an AVRI black Jazz or a CS black XII and they said that all Jazzmasters are on back order and that the CS would require an upfront deposit of one kidney.
