Not my taste either. I way prefer CAR or FMS that has naturally aged and gone a sort of perloid colour.

Sorry gang...I LOVES me some sparkly git-tars!

In fact, I'm torn between doing a historically correct resto of the upcoming '63/'64 JM project or doing a totally tricked-out, big-assed flake job.

I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!! I would own it in a second.
When I went to the Fender Museum in Corona three or so years back, they had an even more glitzy guitar. They had a Blue sparkle sunburst Jazzmaster. The headstock even had a sunburst on it. It was awesome! They also had a Jaguar rather close like this, it was made for the movie Bye Bye Birdie or something like that. If I had a scanner I would scan my pics I took in (I went there before I owned a digital camera

I would also have to say it's pimpin.
It would only be tacky if it was perloid body with pearloid pickguard and had a plastic Fender logo on the headstock.
I wonder if it sounds as sparkley as it looks, heh...
