Thanks.
Can't wait to try these pickups out. They are 8k singlecoil humbuckers. I'm expecting a nice bell-tone twang. The pots will 250k for higher output.

Well, I meant humbucker sized singlecoils.

No, sorry, yeah, I knew what you meant with the p90's, but I was referring to your statement regarding 250k for higher output... that's a new one on me, what's the story there? ( I'm not meaning to be smart, I'm just genuinely confused, I've never heard of that).

Cheers, Steve

Jaguars have 1meg pots usually. Apparently increasing the pot value to 250k gives you more output.

It is. 1MΩ is four times the resistance of 250kΩ.
The former will give you more output and a brighter sound than the latter. The latter will give you less output and more pronounced low mids and bottom end. That's how most people perceive it anyway.

So it's a Japanese jagmaster neck? I thought those were 25.5" scale, and the later ones were a conversion 24" neck. Just wondering. Looks killa though! -Adam

It's a '97 Japanese Squier Jagmaster neck. It's identical in construction to a CIJ Fender Jaguar neck which is 24"
The newer Jagmaster necks made from about 2000 onwards are Chinese and are either 25.5 or conversion necks.

That Wigsby does look tempting. Can't find an online UK stockist of it though. How is the tuning holding out?
