Need your advice on a Strat!

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Thanks for the input. Yeah, my friend passed on it. He bought a beautiful 1966 Harmony Jupiter instead, and it's gonna be a keeper for him!

I think 900 for a 79 strat would be a good deal.. As mentioned, prob. would be best to get it as close to original as possible, I'm sure you'd have been able to sell it for a profit.   


btw, I got a strat too, and I love it!  :D

Hi!
The worst thing you can do to a Strat(or any axe)is to install a Floyd.You can still put back a regular bridge(with some scares)but you are dead with the locking system.
I saw a similar one that still went for about 1200.00$us on eBay.There is a market for everything.

I think the FR bridges are ugly, and they look like a lot of work for nothing. AND i'm not looking at one now, but they look like their construction would get in the way of my hand restign comfy on the saddles.

I got a harmony Meteor the i'd take over any FR bridged guitar anyday...
