I know laundry detergent glows in black light - maybe that's a start...or maybe a better start is to go to your local head shop and see what type of black light paint they have.  You have to ask yourself, what would hippies do?

i've seen the "ghost" finish...the shop is in Tacoma, not Seattle though...cool idea, but the execution...it's kind of like those light show Rickenbackers... :-\

i think i remember a guitar on ebay that had mirrors on it, but not the flat disks like on Syd's, these were those wide angle domed ones that give a fish eye view and were in 3-4 different sizes...kinda creepy in a psych kind of way.

one cool trick with the black light paints is if you over spray it with...say black Krylon...while it's still wet...everything melts together and gets all swirly...then coat it with clear

oh those lightshow ricks...if i wasn't filling the tele body up with sympathetic strings i'd love to jam some Xmas lights in there and hook up a simple frequency analyzer circuit!
