Re: Inserting an Image
You can insert images by copying the image url and wrapping the bbc img tags around it like so:
You can also paste the image url into the reply field, highlight the url, and then click the image icon above the smilies.
I'll sticky this for other folks that might not be familiar with the process...
Code: Select all

I am still Doofus...
Thanks Jay, but uploading an image from *my computer* doesn't seem to apply as I cannot copy the entire 'url' from XP's picture folder...
I suppose that I'm used to having the familiar BROWSE buttom option where I can locate the pic and click.
Like I said - 'I ain't savvy shit'.
Signed,
Still Doofus

Re: Inserting an Image
In that case you'll have to find a site that can host images in order to upload them first. We decided not to use the attach images feature here in order to save bandwidth and server space. I can't think of any but I'm sure some other members can point you to a good and free image hosting service.

Re: Inserting an Image
I recommend Imageshack (http://imageshack.us) as a quick, and effective means of posting pictures. After you upload a picture they even give you the VB code to post it.

Re: Inserting an Image
As I said, thanks to Older Brother. The fretboard has gone from a parched stick to a dark chocolate brown slab of players heaven.
Frodo's below, (hopefully).

I went the 50/50 Raw Linseed Oil/Mineral Turpentine mix for 4 coats. The straight Linseed for three.
If iI wanted it darker I could have kept going. I brushed on the mix, left it for 15-20, wiped off the
excess and repeated.
Not only is the fretboard now a lovely rich dark colour, it also feels very smooth, without feeling, as you may expect, oily.
Oh and some photo's of the guitar itself (last two links).
