Multiple Stand Case
Anyone used one of these Warwick rock stand cases? I've got a 6 guitar Gator Case I bought awhile back that I don't particularly care for because it's rather rickety. Any other suggestions? I'd use a wall hanging of some sort but I'm renting for now and don't want to tear up the walls.

Re: Multiple Stand Case
I have one and I like it. Easy to transport folded and quite sturdy (even better if it's full of guitars)

You said sturdy. I think that sells me on it... let's see what eBay has to offer.

Well, it's not made of concrete
but it's as sturdy as you could expect, and I don't see how they could have made it better without adding a lot more weight...

We used one of those rockcase stands at loads of shows with Jedi Jane and it was always really stable. It folds away really nicely too

Nice - I was looking into gettin gone of those for home, so that I can do away with the tri-pod style. A 6-guitar case would make it so much more compact... I was looking into the "Genuine Fender" ones for a bit, but I think they were way overpriced... I'll also check out the Warwicks on ebay in due course...

Re: Multiple Stand Case
I have a 3-guitar model and a 5-guitar model Rockstand unit - both are nice 'n' solid. The metal tubes are around (I'm guessing here) 3/4" in diameter.

I have one of these in my room, and it's really good - it doesn't harm the finish on your guitar either. The cased one is a lot more compact when it's folded away, though so it's better for gigging and stuff.mjet260 wrote: I have a 3-guitar model and a 5-guitar model Rockstand unit - both are nice 'n' solid. Re: Multiple Stand Case
I tried one of these non-cased ones in guitar center and it seemed really wobbly. The cased ones attach the arms at the back of the case allowing for some more stability it seems.

I have the same one, and it's very sturdy. It's a bitch to carry, though. There's no good way to carry it with one hand. The thing tries to unfold and trip you!chrisjedijane wrote:I have one of these in my room, and it's really good - it doesn't harm the finish on your guitar either. Re: Multiple Stand Case
Isn't it JUST what the case version is all about - to carry the darn thing.... (look! a handle! Wonder what that's for?)RumorsOFsurF wrote: I have the same one, and it's very sturdy. Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?
