Re: Squier 2020 line
He's one of the only ones besides that godawful In the Blues guy who's reviewing cheap pedals and gear. I think he's getting quite popular because of that. Would rather listen to his out of tune bends than Shane's boring blues wanking any day.

I’m kind of surprised they didn’t include a ‘51 in this range.

Will the Supersonic fit in a regular Strat/Tele gig bag? It's short scale but the body is backwards and that bout might stick out.

Re: Squier 2020 line
Thank you for posting this! Glossy neck!!!! I was worried about the trem block and cheap "Affinity" style neck finishing. Plus vintage style saddles and tuners!?!?
This is everything I want and more. Gonna be a day-one purchase for me.
If it's "Classic Vibe" quality we're going to be in for a treat.

This is my plan too. I'm not a big tort fan normally, but I love it on black.
Also, I'm glad that the necks were left natural. I hate heavy tints on new guitars.

Oh wow. these look way better than I was expecting.
The bottom wing on the supersonic doesn't look as fat as it does in the photo, which is a relief.

Re: Squier 2020 line
The last run of the Squier '51 was from 2013 to late-2016. They'll probably save its re-re-reintroduction for later.thatfenderguy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 3:56 pmI’m kind of surprised they didn’t include a ‘51 in this range.
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Are there any photos of the Super-Sonics? I pre-ordered the graphite because the blue looked a bit boring in the stock photos, but after seeing the blue Toro I'm not sure if I want to change my order.

Too much choice from Squier at the moment. Went for a sea foam sparkle tele deluxe. Will no doubt end up getting a few other models.

Re: Squier 2020 line
honestly, my big issue with squier lately has been most the good stuff you have to order in or sells too quick

Re: Squier 2020 line
I got a red sparkle bullet tele last year, and in the last few weeks I got one of those competition orange bullet mustangs. They both needed minimal tweaking to play nicely, and more importantly they look amazing, ha!
I have no hesitations buying squiers these days, and have high hope's for the deluxe tele. Looking forward to seeing people picking up their paranormal models!

Re: Squier 2020 line
That Toronado Green/blue colour is confusing me a bit - how can Fender's pictures be so off?
or maybe the pics from that reverb ad have some weird filter? I don't know

anyways - I still made some mock ups with different pickguards :

Very hard decision between those and black/tort ... if the colour really has that blue teint and not green
