Wayne hasn't replied to me (nor his son Michael)... I don't know if they ever will.
They're tough to get a hold of, I just spoke with Mike yesterday after 2 weeks of phone tag - small shop, and they got a lot of business from NAMM and the Arlington Guitar Show...
Again, I'd sell it and use the proceeds to buy a body you really want (as well as a neck, pickguard, pickups...) or bank it, unless you consider yourself a big vintage Charvel fan...and it really doesn't sound like the latter!
Okay, that's what I figured... thanks! I'm a huge GUITAR fan in general. Check out the band I'm playing in now, and you'll see why I'd consider keeping it

Whoa, that's off the hook - my buddy Scott up in S.F. turned me onto you guys 6 months ago! Reason being, I had a gig in college (20 years ago!) that was similar called Hard-N-Moist. Our "hit"? "Welcome to the Jungle...Gym"

He's in the booking biz, so if you're looking to hit San Fran, he can probably help!
As for "metal" guitars, the reason I was talking to Mike Charvel was to get a solid brass vintage trem with humbucker spacing for this one I'm building...they're IMPOSSIBLE to find, except from him...
There is no guitar more metal...ok, well, maybe this one I bought last week...
I have an illness, and I'm not yet seeking therapy...now back to your regularly scheduled programming...
