After adopting Pat & Gary P as my spirit animals, I’m living my best life & I don’t damn well care.

Flattered
I’ve been tempted to put together another tele but I definitely need to clear some space before hand. I want a tele with a Wilkinson VS100N vibrato on a semi traditional tele body. It kinda goes against the simplicity of a tele but I’ve got those bases covered already.

currently renewing my friendship with a parts tele after experimenting with weird strings and tunings. it has currently got uncompensated straight threaded saddles on which i have derided in the past. loving them right now. just a pure honest guitar that can do anything and sounds great.
2 months later. it has a mishmash of string brands on there. still got the uncompensated threaded steel bridge saddles. sounds correct. i'm starting to think intonation is a LIE haha ;D

I have maybe 5 guitars with three-saddle uncompensated Tele bridges, and despite being pretty fussy about tuning and voicing, I've never had a problem with dialing them in to sound good. Either I'm lucky or it's a case of "two wrongs make a right". No doubt using a wound G string helps.
