I still haven't run into one of these in person. Now that you mention it, the trem arm looks a lot like the Chet Atkins Bigsby arms that I've recently fallen in love with and added to my Tele and Gretsch. It's a lot more useable (and offset-like) than the stock flat Bigsby trem arms.

i tried a white starplayer tv few months ago (plugged in a fender supersonic amp) and... woah!

Thanks for the info, fenderjeff. I thought that, like the Fender U.S./ Mexico model, they had an more expensive Deutsch line and a moderately priced Asian line.

Duesenbergs are great guitars, especially the Carl Carlton model! I wish they would bring out one of their hollowbody models without a bigsby...
